Your Ownership Rights
All writing content you submit to Writaya remains your intellectual property. You retain full copyright and ownership of your original creative works. We do not claim any ownership rights over your writing submissions.
This means you are free to:
- Publish your writing elsewhere
- Submit your work to competitions or publications
- Use your content for any personal or commercial purpose
- Delete your content from our platform at any time
Limited License to Writaya
By submitting content to Writaya, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:
- Store your content on our servers
- Process your content through our AI evaluation system and 3rd party AI systems
- Display your content back to you within the application
- Create backups for data recovery purposes
This license is solely for the purpose of providing our service to you and terminates when you delete your content or account.
AI Processing & Training
Important: We do not use your writing submissions to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. Your content is processed only to generate personalized feedback for your current session.
The AI evaluation is performed using one of the biggest third-party AI services under their enterprise terms, which prohibit using customer data for model training.
Platform Content
The writing prompts, themes, methods, and other educational content provided by Writaya are owned by us or our licensors. This content is provided for your personal, non-commercial use within the platform.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform content without prior written permission.
Exporting Your Content
You can export your writing submissions at any time. Your content belongs to you, and we support your right to data portability. Contact our support team if you need assistance exporting your data.
Content Deletion
You can delete individual submissions or your entire account at any time by submitting an other answer to the question. When you delete content, it is removed from our active systems. Backup copies may be retained for a limited period for data recovery purposes but will eventually be purged.
